  Ljubljanski grad – Ljubljana Castle  
  Ljubljanski grad – Ljubljana Castle. Perhaps it is a curiosity, but standing here one is not even 200 kilometers from Venice, more like 180, and rather less than half that far from Trieste. The Ljubljana Castle has a thousand year history, though most of the extant structures date from the XV and XVI centuries.
